Hospital Story

The under-my-feet cat and the right-behind-me dog live together in the kitchen of a large house somewhere in England.

The cat is a lovely grey and white moggy and the dog is particularly shaggy mongrel from an animal rescue centre run by a very famous animal charity.  They are the best of friends.

However, on the day of our story they had had quarrel and were SERIOUSLY NOT SPEAKING.
 
The problem was that neither of them could remember what the quarrel was about.

The right-behind-me dog decided to go out for a while and calm down.

He made his way out of the garden and down the road.       

Suddenly he became aware of a noise behind him.
                                     
He took no notice as he thought it was the under-my-feet cat coming to apologise.  Oh dear how wrong he was!!!!!
